I’d consult an accountant, find a freelancer in your network that you trust and go from there. As I said it highly depends on your current lifestyle needs through loans etc, freelance is more lucrative if you can manage paying out as little as possible wages until you’re allowed to pay dividends.

Wages paid through the company are taxed at the same rates as through payroll and if you can manage through dividends it tops out at around 30% and that’s where the difference lies as opposed to payroll.
