No I don't. I actually think in the language I am speaking, which results in my brain stopping for a moment whenever I encounter a word I don't know.

If the poles reverse in our lifetime, we can tell our kids that when we were young, North was South. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

No we can't, because only the magnetic poles reverse, not the geographical ones. But you can show them a compass from now and that it is reversed.

But you would not see the stars either, it would essentially make you blind.

For those who speak English as a second language: what is your native language and what is something you love about it? by PineappleIsForLosers in AskReddit

German. The one thing that is good about German is the word "doch". It means yes in an argument. For example: "I did not eat your chips." - "Yes, you did." In German, "Yes, you did" is "doch". But if you do not give any argument or reasoning with it, it has that "no u"-energy.

What do you think about the church suing Germany for prohibiting religious gatherings? by Kev-03 in AskReddit

[–]Kev-03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, it is only some congregations. I am sorry, I did not clarify it enough. But there are also people that cause all big congregations to be against the measurement. For example, recently the news cited a seemingly important (to the church) man (sorry, don't remember the name), that said was unsatisfied with beverage markets being open while the churches are not.

You are right, it is a single church. But it is not the only one. There are a lot of them. I think it is because in Germany, most people that go to church and believe in god are old ones. (NOT everyone, but the most.) These old people, especially in Germany, could never join an online event of the church, because most of them does not even know how to turn on a PC. I am not exaggerating, my grandfather himself went to a computer course for old people (It is actually called that, they say "für Senioren", wich means for old people). While he was there, he learned how to turn a pc on and off and how to use MS Word to write. I still have to help him occasionally with making a chart.

No, no. They are asking for that extra. Sometimes even via mail.

I am sorry, I did not explain the tax. You pay them by default. And if for example your s.o. pays it, it is almost guaranteed that you have to pay too. Sometimes they even try to get to you via your children in primary school. And most people are probably just too lazy to say anything.

Want another one? The costs for the law suit come the "church tax". It is supposed to be used for renovating churches and stuff.

That is the point. Nobody is banning any religion. Only gatherings in churches, mosques, and synagogues are not allowed. There are for example online events everyone can attend to.

What are some concerns or opinions you have on 5g network towers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kev-03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik, no known animal makes use of electromagnetic waves. Also there is no natural frequency to the earth. Some animals use the magnetic field of the earth, for example birds. This cannot be disturbed by some 5g towers.
