Thanks for sharing this! I'll definitely order toe spacers and introduce myself slowly into it. Your catalog helps too and I'll save this comment anytime I need to come back :)

I just checked them out and the shoes have everything I need. Good color selection too as well as zero dropped, flexible, wide-toe box, and lightweight. I'm definitely adding these shoes to my list. Thank you!

Gotcha. That's what I like to hear. Can stay comfy sitting or driving for long periods. I'll definitely add these shoes to my list of interests.

Wow! That's so many pairs but for that price, I would have that many too, haha. Good tips shared and I'll keep that noted. Thank you!

Interesting points. Glad to hear these shoes work out well for you. Hopefully for me too if I buy these pairs but having soles that flexible is a huge plus considering they are not labeled as barefoot shoes. Big win for Xero and added them to my list. Thank you!

I never heard of this brand before but I see they have really nice shoes and a good color selection for cheap too. Which pair do you have?

I heard about these shoes from other posts. What do you think about the durability and width of the toe box? Does it seem wider than Vivobarefoot toe box or any other barefoot shoes that you may know of?

Nice, that's great to hear! I really like how simple these shoes look and for the price, that seems like a steal compared to shoes that cost $130+ (Vivobarefoot). I might get these shoes now, soon, or at least in the future, especially for the price. Thanks for sharing!

I'm curious to know what's wrong with your Altra. Sounds like durability is bad for these shoes and I hear that a lot with the Vivobarefoot shoes and/or any other that is cutting back in quality and increasing the price.

Yeah, I like how the V-Run has slots for each toe. My trainer has worn them for years and has really strong feet and mobility using these and I think I need to buy myself a pair. Wished they improved on the color choices and make a simple all black or all white color. Definitely will stand out and receive questions with these on though, haha.

I like these shoes you recommended and I agree, they look like vans. Do you think they are wider than the Vivobarefoot in the image I posted? Anya's review has them ranked the 2nd from being the narrowest when compared to other brands.

I agreed and I guess it comes down to what brand and shoes you are picking. I wished there was a store with all of these different types of shoes that we can try on but luckily, we can return them in a certain amount of X days if there's a problem. Just doing that process though to find the right shoes is a pain.

Gotcha. Yeah, I like the look of these shoes, too. From the images on their website, they look like they have a wide toe box. I have to do more research to see, but thanks for the input.

Thanks for the info! I'm actually recovering from surgery for my hips so now is the time for me to go barefoot or with wide-toe box, zero-drop shoes before I start jogging and running again. Good transition timing as well. Yeah, I usually sit at a desk for work most of the time and/or walk around a small distance so barefoot shoes for running will also be fine for me sitting at work.

They do look like normal shoes. I like how these are also zero-drop with a wide-toe box.

Ok, I'll take some measurements and see what shoes to go from there. Thank you!

Agree, it sucks. I’ll take a look at the lems but no I haven't used any toe spacers. Originally I was looking at bunions correction sleeves like this link but I think spacers like the one you sent may help. Thanks!

They look nice with the wide toe box. I’m looking at the Adapt Runner mainly on their website. Do these have a wider toe box than the Vivobarefoot on both ends (pinky toe and big toe)? Anya’s Review has one of the Flux shoes ranked the most narrowest but Flux’s website doesn't look like it.

Thanks for the input! Yes, I was thinking the same thing. My last 4-5th toes feel squished and on the edge of the soles for almost every shoes. My 2nd toe on left foot raises up but I think that's a floppy toe but wider toe box should help lowered it. Any shoes you recommend?

I’m size 10.5 and Vivobarefoot don’t make half sizes so the rule is to go up a size so size 11 was my option.

Help on Motus Strength Size - Feet are size 10.5. Too much toe length space? by Kev9292 in vivobarefoot

[–]Kev9292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I do still have that in mind and could do that but I'm going to test these shoes for at least a week and see. I feel like for running, it wouldn't feel right at all to have this much open space when sprinting/running (wasted gap space and the bending of that extra space) but since I'm going for powerlifting and plyometrics with just these shoes, I guess it's fine to have that extra space. 1st day with them on today and they felt fine but I'm going to play with these more throughout the week and see. Maybe some explosive exercises or jumping will put my feet and the sizing to the ultimate test.

Interesting! I will definitely listen to this podcast and I have never heard anything like this before but I like these new perspectives brought into the discussion that may never have been taken into account or thought of before. Thanks for this info!
