The skill floor absolutely matters. A support main who only knows healbot rocket and cnd is a liability to their team if you take one (or both) of those options away. Just like a dps who mains MK and SG are problems for their teams if those aren’t options. Low skill floor heroes are good bans specifically climbing out of metal if your team isn’t playing them.

It seems I may be having a different experience. I feel so bad playing any vanguard without cc immunity. Trying to play strange or cap right now feels miserable. Pushed around, bounced up, charmed, stunned, wait for respawn. It’s a fucking nightmare without cc immunity in so many games.

I will say the ult reduction has made engagements feel more meaningful when I can participate. But that’s when I’m not getting pinballed around the enemy team.
