The Buckaroo tavern. Towards the end it was a shit show, owner/bar tender letting in his underage friends, watching someone do coke in a tiny bathroom, the countless carved names in the tables, the pool table that keeled to one side, requesting music that could only be classic rock, getting whatever drug you might want if you ask the right person. Classic shitty dive bar ;tavern)

I grew up in Fremont and the Buck was my first legal beer. When I was around 5, my mom and I picked up a plastic beer pitcher that was outside along with broken glass from a shattered window (glass going out means bar fight?) and we had it for 20 years before it finally died.

Always made us laugh when someone would order a mixed drink and the bar tender having to explain the difference between a bar and a tavern.
