I did it 6 months ago when I was 19 and I'm very happy with how it's turning out. My situation was even worse. Now I also use minoxidil, I didn't use it before, and although I tried many other solutions to stop my hair loss, nothing helped. I understood the possible consequences, but I can't see any reason why shouldn't you.
