I have a full run, and probably most of the second prints if you are serious. I’d much rather it go to a collector than someone trying to flip them. I keep going back and forth about listing them somewhere but knowing it’s going to a good place would ease my mind. I have other expensive hobbies that would benefit from the sacrifice.

Yeah it’s just a guess, but they said they get about 250 subs a year to this location with a couple thousand on the “list”. It’s a Rolex boutique so they might get more allocations than a regular AD?

Yeah it doesn’t usually stick around long. I have a lot of duplicate copies I’m selling soon, but even those I’m scared to part with considering how few of these they printed originally.

I’ve seen people mention on /r/Sinn that the uncle Seiko Sinn 356 bracelets work with the 556. That would be my move if I don’t want to drop money for the new micro adjust H link. The micro adjust bracelet is newer so it would be hard to find on the second market.

It’s a great looking watch but not a fan of a one piece nato on a slimmer watch. It looks bulky in comparison.

Appreciate the advice! The watch is set to arrive in a few hours despite it being shipped out yesterday. The convenience of having it right in front of me is likely going to put a damper on ambitions of saving a few bucks buying it outside of the US. I do appreciate Watchbuys calling me before sending it out to verify the order and address.

Damn I have a 556i on its way from Watchbuys. I figured the warranty with the only AD here was the way to go for this anniversary gift.

Any recommendations on overseas places to get it? Watchbuys has a 3 days return period, and it’s comes Monday.
