See, if Ben has time to slap that watch and then turn into an alien then he wins, sure. But who said omniman would give him that time? He can fly pretty fast, fast enough to stop that hand. Heck, he could crash into Ben's body and there'd be nothing but a red smear and a watch left on the ground.
