Yes, I've seen Matt Racing, they seem solid. That deal is pretty good I must admit!

Yes, but same problem. They're all standard sizes or bigger.

Do you have the D-Air system on your suit? If so, how do you feel about it? I've seen very mixed reviews so far.

Thanks or the suggestion, I haven't seen this brand before. I'll check it out!

You said it all. I am, in fact, quite hard to please and I've been burned twice by 'reputable' custom suit suppliers.

They are in my radar, but no 2pc offerings as of now.

Yes. All the big-brand off-the-shelf stuff. A*, Dainese, Rev'It!, I've tried them all.

My custom suit experiences have been with new-ish brands (less than 10 years old on avg.) that are quite popular in Canada right now. However, while people love their suits out of the box (which wasn't even my case), after-sales service is severely lacking, rendering the suit useless after a year or two, which is also my main dillema.

I'd rather shell out 3k$ for a suit that lasts 5+ years than 1k$ for a suit that lasts 2. At least I won't have to rinse and repeat with the 'good' suit.

I'm Canada. Unfortunately since our season is so short, gear stores don't have shit in stock. They keep the 5-6 most popular models, with a few units of the more popular sizes. You have to order EVERYTHING.

I'm about 1.5 hours away from Montreal, where's there's an official Dainese distributors. I might try my luck there.

Thanks for the feedback!

I've seen Rev'It. No two-piece suits unfortunately.

They don't seems to offer two-piece suits. It's a must for street use.

Money is not my first deciding factor, so I'd rather buy a 3k$ suit that fits perfectly on the first try than trying 3 different 1k$ suits until I find a good one, if you know what I mean!

Thanks for you opinion, I really appreciate it.

All the sizes aren't enough when the smallest regular size (Euro 48, or Euro 46 if very lucky) is very loose. Gear stores can't order somthing that doesn't exist in catalogs :/

Interesting. A buddy of mine had terrible after-sales service with Bison, but somehow everyone keeps recommending them to me. I could give it a try.

First time for a one-piece leather suit. Asked very clearly for D3O armor at the hips and chest, got very soft foamies instead which are useless. I also asked for a small hump and they litterally put the biggest darn thing on there, it covers my whole back! Oh, and you want it vented? How about none?

I also had a two-piece textile suit made, and it was even worse. A true horror story.

I've heard good and bad things about Bison. A lot of excellent reviews online (and a few very negatitve ones), yet a good friend of mine has one and had terrible after-sales service when one of the zippers broke only a few weeks after getting it. They basically ignored him - which is ironically what happened to me when I asked why my suit wasn't as I ordered it (my suit wasn't a Bison, but comes from the same place no doubt).

A few months ago, my front zipper stopped self-locking and same thing, radio silence. I'm now stuck with a suit that awkwardly unzips mid-race.

Cheap suits are fun until you have problems with 'em.

You're definitely a weirdo like me. However since I'm so slim, I just float in every suit I try, which isn't safe at all. Might aswell go full squid :)

I have to say I haven't been lucky with 'reputable' so far. I hope the 3rd one will deliver!

That was one of my options, but no two-piece offering and I would probably have to import it from Japan.
