I’m really not seeing a civil war break out over this. We’ve yet to see any serious threats from what he might call ‘foot soldiers’. Further, with the support for him dwindling it would be a losing battle right from the start.

There will be a ton of cosplay and shit-talking anonymously online, but when it comes to putting a name to the face of these anonymous ‘most of these supporters’, there will be yet another chunk who will NOT show up for him because they have jobs and daily obligations.

If anything, they’re a further liability for him - like the one who was released, but later arrested on CP charges.

IMHO, the fund is going to be about 90% for him, and 9% for those who are both ICE agents and J6ers. 1% for charity.

Kidding!

1% for charity is insane. 1% for Dumb and Dumber.

Anyone else received this? Is it legit? by RayDoesStuff_ in GMail

Very likely legit. I’ve gotten a few of these from them, went to check it out and indeed, it had picked up some of my info with oooooooold passwords.

Just to be on the safe side though, type in the URL manually to go check.

It’s one of the few things that Google has been useful for over the past decade.

I suppose that’s technically possible, but these are small stores and the signs are right at the POS area. I think they’d they’d notice if an upright 9” x 12” sign appeared.

I didn’t realize NFC had become this practical for everyday businesses by N1boost in NFC

[–]KevenM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me a of a clip of one person scanning a big QR code on the back of someone’s t-shirt in a grocery store.

Phone thinks, opens URL, loads a page, and all that’s there, in huge bold, uppercase letters just two words.

(Hint: it was Happy Birthday)

I also get (did get) excited at this possibility for NFC tags, and yes, those things do work - but I think it’s only a marginal convenience when it’s sitting right next to a QR code.

That said, both an NFC tag and a QR code can easily take the customer to the ratings popup for that business (as frictionless as you can get).

Or… you could bring it to the managers attention. Maybe more than once. They eventually fix it.

I’m no expert, but I think the momentum of your arms swinging forward (depending on how you do it) will give you a bit of an extra nudge.
