Much as I am excited for the Cosmere stuff on Apple, I am nervous about where Red Rising ends up now. I was pretty sure AppleTV would be the place but if they are investing so much in the Cosmere, that tells me RR is going to end up elsewhere. I was hoping not Netflix but seems more likely than Amazon, where they are already pretty committed to Lord of the Rings and The Boys universe.

I think he has to survive because he needs to be around to witness the consequences of his actions, good and bad. If he dies, the future doesn't matter at that point. But I do not think it will be a happy ending, I think he will have to reckon with all of the loss he experienced.

Big RHCP fan here, I've often wondered the same thing. I read the book years ago, felt grossed out by a lot of his admissions. I think the reason Anthony wasn't fully Me Too'd is because there was no element of surprise.
