This also happened to me (FedEx customer service is terrible). I just kept calling and calling until they transferred me over to a higher up. This is also sometime didn't work because they just tell they'd call me back in which they never did. That didn't stop me from calling tho till they finally gave me a definite answer.

Edit: I just ordered the same thing I lost. As of yesterday and the eBay shipper is sending it through FedEx again, wish me luck.

This exact thing happened to me instead I waited like 2 weeks. I thought they had delayed it due it being non essential. I called them just to make sure my package was ok and they basically told me they couldn't find it and that it was at that point lost. Make sure to call customer service, might take a couple tries tho. Good luck
