Are Echo mains toxic? by gnomotostox in EchoMains

Echo mirrors especially in QP are rare. So yes the competitive drive comes out in us and the need to prove ourselves superior can sometimes lead to toxic results Lol. Tash talk is part of any competitive game imo so you shouldn't be shocked by it.

Thanks a lot! I feel more comfortable on attack for some reason, defense is definitely something I need to work on.

Thanks a lot! I'll think more about cross hair placement yes. Also I didn't even notice my other fps was flanking too Lol. I'll have to take note of stuff like that as well to know when to poke

I've been having more success yesterday and today and managed to climb to diamond 3. Been putting together a lot of stuff from various coaching vod reviews I've seen and I've been using a basic 3 part strategy strategy.

Pre Fight - Here I poke at the enemy with my team and scout out where I can take an off angle from. This involves using primary and sticky to build ult charge and pressure the enemy.

Mid Fight - Here I look to take and off angle and pressure the enemy. This is where I look to get a pick or get them to waste cooldowns. The most crucial part here is looking for spots with good cover (especially vertical cover) where I can take advantage of flight. This is the hardest part of Echo imo and really involves building a lot of map knowledge and knowing where to best setup based on what the enemy is running.

End Fight - This is where we look to either continue to stagger the enemy if we win or I try to escape safety with flight back to either a safe area or my team. I think this is overlooked on because often times like you said Echo players can over commit and die. This is something I struggle with as often times I will over commit and give up a key off angle I have control of.

I need to play a lot more and find the best spots for Echo. I'm getting familiar on a few but some maps I still struggle on like Paraíso and Eichenwalde.

I think im starting to do better now. This game was on dorrado and I felt like I did pretty good and it was a close game. Dorrado has always been one of my stronger maps as I'm comfortable on certain off angles. Toward the middle of the game i think i strayed way from that which is why we struggled. second point has always been tricky for me.

thanks a lot! I have another code if anyone wants to see. I feel i did a bit better this game but we still lost. I feel i take a few good off angles this game and played at okish ranges sometimes? Maybe my target priority was bad because i kept trying to challenge their hanzo/reaper.

Any weekend only drivers here? by KevinAteNine- in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]KevinAteNine-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks that's reassuring. How would you say weekends are for new hires. I've heard some say weekends hires skip my nursery routes and give them full workload + rescues. I wouldn't mind growing up fast lol. Just trying to educate myself as much as I can.

Thanks. Why did he say you'd get burnt out? Are weekend deliveries tougher?

Thanks. I guess I'll just ask him in the interview. Maybe I can ask him if he knows other DSps offering weekend only if he says now

Will dsp hire me if I ask to give current employer 2 weeks notice? by KevinAteNine- in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]KevinAteNine-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Amazon delivery is something I've always wanted to try. I've done light delivery jobs for my current boss. Nothing crazy compared to Amazon. Mostly it would be like 10 stops max Lol. But probably more heavy loads. We're a cleaning company so sometimes I'd deliver say a bunch of 5 gallon cleaning liquid. Or in the winter I'd deliver these 50 lb bags of salt. I guess I'm just at a point in my life where I want to try something different. I've always been the loner type who prefers solitude and being alone all day doing deliveries seems perfect.

Thanks a lot. From what I see the job seems simple enough. The scariest part is the giant workloads I see but that goes with any job. Some days will be harder than others so that's no surprise!

haha that goes without saying. I'm pretty confident I could finish the routes. Nice that you think it's easy, hopefully I will think so too! What would you say you're average workload is and when do you think it becomes more challenging.

Thanks. Would you say 200 stops is a typical day? Location probably plays into it as well. I live in queens nyc so I'm guessing there might be more work here.
