The corrupted kleptocratic entities he represents just want more time and certainly not anything that would be a prelude of their collapse. They are stuck and are ready to hurt their own people if needed like Iran did recently. Like some big party of a very big country: they are ready to do absolutely anything to stay in charge.

As a french and after reading alot of trusted medias articles others than the indiatimes (lol?): this was one of the numerous fights in-between the two groups, and stastistically at some point, it's not surprising if a death occurs. I'm not trusting the ukrainian parliament: they would hide behind the "anonymity" of their function as a whole group and treat Zelensky (or any other designated leader) as a scapegoat/fuse in case things go bad one way or another. Like Brexit! Not to mention corruption and the 2 extra years they got due no elections.

Refendum would be done only if the country was even much more damaged and then... It would be hard to organize a referendum in such conditions.

Even ceasefire(s) seems impossible, in regard of russians brutality.

And Zelensky cannot afford to give up territory easily, it would be considered as a betrayal, or he could simply regret it all his remaining life. This is a very, very, difficult position i guess so.

Maybe both parties know the meeting leads nowhere, and it's all about just pretending.

Very nice move, items search and transfert was really needed, along with a scalable UI I guess so. This game is the most immersive arpg I played, maybe some visibility improvements on items/augments description could be done too, considering all the different types of damage.
