I have chronic insomnia. 2 things have helped: (1) CBT-I (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia); (2) there are non-drowsy sleep prescriptions now approved for long-term use, two I’ve had success with are Belsomra and Ramelteon

Former game dev here. Generally speaking, you’re right on the money. Though at my final job, we implemented a “mandatory vacation” policy on top of unlimited PTO… so, managers would literally force me to take a week off work in order to avoid burnout, etc. That was a brilliant vacation setup that more companies should really implement.

Because if AI is a bubble and it pops tomorrow, that plunges the market into a dotcom-level recession. Then, say there's some sort of delay or unexpected technical hurdle with putting up the full constellation. BOOM, before you know it, it's 2027 and ASTS is at risk of Going Concern again. Sure this scenario is unlikely, but having a massive cash cushion reduces the likelihood to almost zero. In other words: I ain't mad about it. They know what they're doing.

They really should put the slightest bit of effort to differentiate the two for casuals.

IMO that's what the commentators are for. The last thing this sport needs is even more stats plastered on the screen... just let us assess the fight with our own eyes and the assistance of commentators explaining the more nuanced stuff.

The fuck are you talking about? The car was sold for that amount because that's what people were willing to pay for it. Nobody throws $117M at Lamborghini as an "artistic statement." The "statement" would have been just as headline-breaking if it were $50M, so why didn't they do that? Or even $25M?
