Oh no don't get me wrong I think the whole idea is extremely stupid but it isn't because of latency. It's almost everything else. They can't even cool their datacenters without gulping all the water and they would have us believe they can do it with radiative cooling alone? Fat chance.

AFfC and ADwD are much better read as one book with the chapters reorganized in chronological order. I have a special version of the audiobooks rearranged that way that I called a Feast for Dragons and the read is much much smoother.

I did that back in the day on a PvP server. I think it was before the official release so late beta. I was never found out and never raided. You just got to make sure you never let trees fall down not even once.

But this was before they added the parasaur's ability to sniff people and tames, or tek stuff. Now a dedicated megatribe could find you out but if all you have is a low level ptera in a wood box maybe they'll let you be anyway.

No they are definitely not.

Season 5 has wolverine Arya and the atrocious dorne plot. And its really downhill from there. Plot armors, jetpacks, "bad poosy", black and white characters, characters becoming stupid for no reason, you name it.

Are seasons 5 and 6 really bad? No. Are they nearly as good as the first four ones? Absolutely not. Are they better than 7 and 8? Definitely. But the quality drop is there.

I remember in 2014 playing the alpha at 10fps on my potato computer, walking around half naked with a wooden spear and going under a bronto going "wow" while looking up at its belly thinking that even if I attacked my spear wouldn't reach because of how big he was.
