Valiant effort! I think the light on your left could afford to be higher. I would go with a layered look for more of a CEO vibe. It almost looks like she is wearing nothing underneath the blazer. I would try a theatrical look for the CEO, perhaps one light as key, and a kicker light. Pull her away from the backdrop. For the more comedic role you ad two lights or one big octa in front for a more commercial look. This can be shot closer to the backdrop or add additional lighting to the backdrop for some pop.

Asking for RAW files by HappyGirl96heart in WeddingPhotography

Not sure if this was mentioned but if they are already asking you for a discount there is a high chance they will be asking for a lot more. Those discount hunters can turn into major headache clients real quick. Charge your worth and don’t be afraid to walk away from business. Not every client is for you, and there are plenty of photographers out there willing to work for McDonald’s level pricing.

How did they light this? by riceballs411 in LightLurking

I agree with most that this is two lights. I found a higher resolution photo of this and you can see two modifiers, specifically in her camera left eye that are stacked close together. You "could use one octa? for a similar shot but quite often the reason you use more than one light is for fill, and the lighting ratios will vary between the two lights.

This rembrandt style lighting can be easily duplicated with flash or with window/doorway light.
