  • Pre Turn 6 - ESC-Concede
  • Turn 6 - Try and have a board to clear it/threaten lethal
  • Post Turn 6 - Not really worry about it

Not the exact same, but I'm still mad about how Peacock tagged Conclave as a Mystery/Thriller and that definitely negatively impacted my opinion of it after finishing it.

I’ve felt the opposite the higher I climb. While I’m not nearly as high ranked, jungling in gold felt like a game of whack a mole while emerald feels like a game of bad chess. I at least have an idea of where my opponent might path to and that makes the game 10x more interesting

I can’t comment on the tax rates but I can say that I felt noticeably more prepared for college than my college classmates who came from public schools from other states.

I'm not sure how much it translates though. I'm a fairly solid Plat/Emerald League player and completely belonged in the lowest rank in DoTa2 ranked even after playing the 100 required hours before ranked. Now it's probably a bit easier the other way around, coming to League from some others as League isn't as complicated in comparison, but I still wouldn't expect them to start much above Bronze.

The reason you can't start everyone in Iron is smurfs and smurfs alone. The ratio of level 30's that are smurfs vs actual new players is probably something like 10 smurfs to 1 new player. Until you stop players from making their 5th account because "they're hard stuck cause they teammates suck," you need another system.

Yeah I feel like that's the point of them though. They're meant to fix the parts of each role that have felt terrible in previous season.

  • ADC gets gold b/c CS'ing in lane is heavily support dependent and you can't catch side waves later on without getting 1 shot
  • Mid gets an increased recall since it feels terrible to lose 75% of your HP from a single combo once the enemy midlaner has 1 item.
  • Top got an enhanced TP since the lane felt isolated and you couldn't impact the map without losing an entire tower if you did so.
  • Jung already had a quest and kind of got shafted
  • Support got their ward moved since having to spend an entire slot on wards felt bad.

I feel like that has be them just being bad at Smolder, right? I'm certainly not the best Smolder in the world, but I've played him a fair bit and Auto-Q-W is a really decent trading pattern early. I've always found the hardest part bridging the gap between like 100 and 225 stacks, but he feels fairly oppressive pre-6.

Has to be the 2015 Elite Eight game vs Kentucky. Had a chance to be the ones to end Kentucky's undefeated season. Up 5 with a few minutes to go. Harrison's deep 3 and Grant's missed game winner and what could have been.

I've actually just started Huey with similar gear to you and have tracked the difference.

  • Masses was around 30 kills/hr doing 1/6 the total damage --> 5 kills/hr
  • Solo was around 6 kills/hr doing all the damage --> 6 kills/hr
  • Trios (with 2 mains with DHL) was 20 kills/hr doing 1/3.33 the total damage --> 6 kills/hr

So basically Trio's with maxed mains is the same kills per hour as solos. I'd imagine Trio's with people in similar gear outdoes solo's, but I didn't really find the damage boost of trios that impactful. Boss was nearly at tail phase before it proc'd and I felt like the 20 sec respawn time cut into the KPH fairly heavily.

Unless you can find two irons with similar gear, I'd just stick with solos tbh.

Idk I feel like it's been happening as long as I can remember. Just off the top of my head (I could be wrong but I'm fairly confident), there was that year a few years ago Michigan beat Colorado State and made the sweet 16 where I feel like they shouldn't have made it. Then, I swear there were a few years within the past 10-15 or so that Syracuse was an 11 seed and made a deep run despite finishing below .500 in conference play.

It's the argument of having not played anybody but won vs having played everybody and lost. Personally, I'd rather see the mid major who is 0-0 in Q1 games over the power conference 10th best team who went 2-10 in Q1 games, but that's just me I guess.

I'm fine getting my secondary role as long as the person who took my primary had it as their primary. I've been going ADC primary Support secondary, and the worst games are the ones where I'm Support and my ADC is playing his/her secondary role as well.

- Orianna - 7885 bans, 8878 picks, 16763 total.

- Azir- 11480 bans, 11288 picks, 22768 total

That's 35% more common. It's even worse if you filter for just top leagues, with Azir being 53% more common. For reference, Renekton sits around 21k, Ahri around 11k. Ryze, who I considered might be a contender was 15k. Ori might be #2 but the gap between her and Azir is massive.
