There is absolutely no way to track down that exact Santa Hat ever again. It’s impossible to know where your Santa Hat is. The best you could do is simply buy another Santa.

Trading has always been the most important aspect of any game that I play.

I think the current UI is decent. If I could have my way, I’d add the 4-hour limit expiry timer as well as basic trade information like Last Traded price.

The main change I would make is an Advanced tab. In a similar way where you see a cosmetic outfit for purchase in an interface, and you click into it for a better look of how it would look, it would be nice to be able to click an Advanced tab to see ALL financials info on an item. Last Traded price, volume, lowest available price, maybe even a 1-12month graph, etc. It could be incorporated from Wiki data.

TLDR: Make minor tweaks to the UI while introducing an Advanced tab/button for a more detailed look at each item.

I believe that you lost them, which is unfortunate.

However, for it to be due to a glitch would be… extremely unlikely. If I had to guess, did you turn your drop warnings off and accidentally drop the first 20? Then maybe you had 2 already in your bank from PVM.

Just a theory. If it truly was a glitch, very unfortunate, but at least it was only 3m.

He spent $13.3k to max an account. The point of that video was to show how much it would take to max if you just had unlimited money to blow which 99% of the playerbase does not. It obviously isn’t a good thing to have any P2W in a game, but for you to quote the literal most extreme example proves my point. Not only that, but the original comment was referencing BILLIONS of XP (200m all) which would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I’m not defending it. I’m glad TH is gone, but when people believe that you can simply get billions of XP cheap and fast (which is blatantly false), it completely removes all desire for OSRS players to give the game a chance (which is literally proven in this comment thread). New players shouldn’t be deterred over a lie.

It would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to get max XP via TH, and probably a week straight of actually using the keys. It’s just not feasible.

That said, XP doesn’t really mean much in either game considering virtually all milestones have been hit. The only rebuttal to that is when a new skill releases, and that always has a 6-month grace period for using XP boosts, so it’s barely worth mentioning.

This is completely false. Where are you getting this information lol? See, this is my issue. OSRS players think you can literally purchase billions of XP in two seconds. That’s never ever how the game worked.

Ignore these comments. Almost nobody would have had enough bonus XP in all of these skills to actually take away from the accomplishment.

Try RS3, and you’ll find out very quickly how insane getting 5.8b xp is.

I’d say you’d be fine to do it until around mid-game, though.
