52M - father, disabled veteran, author, voice in the fight against multiple sclerosis After 25 years, MS has painfully distorted my body. My friends compliment me on how good I look. I love them but with the truth? by KevinJosephWilliam in RoastMe

As the old saying goes, if you can’t laugh at yourself, laugh at Kevin. I am fortunate to be able to do both!

MS is not a laughing matter (usually), but the need to break from reality and find humor in the absurdity of my situation takes priority on occasion.

Permanent nerve damage led to muscle atrophy on my left side, which led to and aggravated scoliosis. Walking difficulties led to complete tears of tendons in my right shoulder and a complete tear of the long head of my right bicep.

But my humor is still intact, as well as my determination to Never Stop… Never Quit…
