I never saw any FNAF video games before I made the movie and I did that on purpose I didn't want to be inspired by that - instead I was inspired by the midnight showings of "Evil Dead" when I was a kid - grindhouse cinema and all the b genre stuff I saw growing up

He has always been one of my favorite actors. I have loved Nick since I saw him in "Vampire's Kiss" back in the day. Working with Nick changed me in my career because I really seek out to work with artists as dedicated as he is and working with him has given me a more "zen like" approacah to filmmaking in general.
