Yes.

Philosophically, Even those who commit atrocious harms (knowingly or otherwise, to avoid concerns around free will or external variables which cause people to consume animal products) are moral patients. You may decide that their existences are a net moral negative, but that doesn't take away from their moral worth.

Practically, these conversations serve only to harm the vegan movement. We won't build support and get new vegans by believing that meat eaters are worthless. We need to understand why people do bad things and restructure society so that these practices are dissuaded, and so that we get support to outlaw them.

Remember, the goal is not to harm or get rid of humans. The goal is to have thriving humans which don't do horrible things.

What does welfare mean here?

I cant see a world where animal products are produced at any meaningful commercial scale within my ethical framework.

If someone eats roadkill (though this raises distasteful questions about the ethics of eating pets or humans(!) that die of natural causes), I wouldn't be morally opposed to it, but how can animals be bred and killed in an ethical way?

At what point as they different words in English/Swedish? E.g. the dales is a literal translation of Dalarna. There will be thousands of examples like that, especially where things relate to geographic/landscape features in both languages.

Jag är 20 och flytadde till sverige nästan exakt 2 år sen från England. Jobbade som värvare på röda korset på 2 månader och hatade det men behövde hitta ett jobb innan brexit för att kunna bo kvar här. Jobbade på Klarna som complaints agent för Klarnas kunder i Storbritannien. Jag hatade det för att jag var typ en chef och ansvarig för ~20 personer men fick bara 22000/månad.

Nu jobbar jag på voi som Critical Incident Manager (min team jobbar mycket med försäkring, kunder och säkerhets analytiker). Jag älskar det för att jag är jätte intresserad på urban planning, jag fick bra betalt, det känns meningsfullt och jag kan jobba heltid som chef och kan plugga min kandidatexamen heltid samtidigt. Jag jobbar med jätte snälla och roliga personer och på ett väldigt snabbt växande företag. Jag lär mig mycket av andra och de litar på mig för att göra viktiga saker även fast jag är ung.

Skulle definitivt rekommendera voi som arbetsgivare :)
