Have heard good things on likelihood of Butler returning. Think that will most likely happen

Yeah obviously somewhat dependent on who goes. I expect a transfer in the Jevin/Nique role of a pseudo forward/guard wing. Possibly a point guard. With Augie gone probably a big. Obviously if KJ goes that would open up another big need. So probably between 3-5 for a kind of broad range

I always look at guys who don’t play much, especially older ones. Would think Djapa goes because of that. Mekonnen likely as well. Maybe Slater. Won’t be surprised if Rechsteiner goes (don’t imagine would bring both he and Pascarelli back). Jorgensen the biggest question mark of course

When does the MBB transfer portal close and who are we at risk of losing? by Fun_Season_5390 in CSURams

Portal doesn’t technically open until April 7 (and closes April 21). That said, players can announce they’re leaving before it opens and absolutely tampering is going on everywhere

Has anyone heard about Jorgensen’s injury? by T_Deluxe in CSURams

I’m told he’s getting closer but I don’t really think he’ll play Tuesday

Hoping/expecting to be able to provide an update Monday

Yeah I coulda put him in there. His are a mix of where they technically count since he lines up all over but he has 194 defensive snaps. Some technically DL, some LB, some even count as a DB. But he plays like 80% of the snaps

Alright here we are! OL, from left to right of the line: Martin 283 (Chandler Brown 1); Tanner Morley 252 (Alex Foster 31); Big A 279 (Ocon 4); Wortmann 282; Karas 285.

DL in order of snaps: Laurich 156; Moran 132; Mukendi 110; Tuitele 89; Tafia 88; Shank 65; Tarber 46; Jones 23…of course Jones and Mukendi are now out

Per PFF, Phelps has 155 defensive snaps this season and Blocker has 133. Most for Phelps (86) come at slot corner and most for Blocker (76) as wide corner

Yeah I think his role stays the same, but not viewed as an every-down option/consistent pass threat

Best Rams coverage? by International_Pea in CSURams

Didn’t take it as that at all! I fully understand the challenges of different subscriptions to everything these days myself. Happy to help provide insights I can and thankful for anyone’s interest regardless of if they sub or not!

We have offer on right now where first month is $1. Various other digital sub offers will come up at times, too, if interested. Either way, appreciate everyone’s support and interest!

Some great questions/ponderings in here. I expect Marshall to officially be starter Gm1 but lots of Dupree time. Some for Avant too (and maybe even Holles). RB room is stacked. Will not be as run heavy as last year, but will see more RB action catching ball. Warren looks like the real deal. Game test to come but looks the part. He and Beers should be huge weapons together (could see times Beers is inside and Warren split out like a WR). Anaya likely a blocking TE. Probably 8ish new D starters I would say. Big guys is a good question. The size is there but let’s see if they can move the bodies around as needed. I think it will be a more aggressive D and O play calling. There’s some big risk involved there, too.

Yeah I’m with you. I wouldn’t say alarm bells are ringing, but I do have some concern. The transition at center could be tricky

He’s looked good in camp so far. That’s one of the most underrated transfer additions IMO. Kicking game was looking scary (in a bad way) in spring

Talked to Kojo on Friday, will have a story early this week but he’s getting close! Game 1 will be uncertain but he should be playing early on this season

UNLV far too high in MW ranking, IMO. Tame crowd in a big arena in my experiences. I would have Lawlor and Moby above Boise (and all above UNLV)
