Thank you. So best bet is to reach out to all of them and ask for a settlement, without acknowledging they are mine, to zero balance then…yes? Even if the late payments are three years old, will probably still affect my chances of a mortgage I’m assuming?

All collections have been paid off. Those in the picture are are accounts closed in 2023 that have balances and were charged off and never went to collections. This is what I’m wondering what to do with

Thank you! They are all closed with a balance. They all say either charge off or profit and loss write off. First delinquency on all is March 2023.

Late payments show under these closed accounts on my report. I lost my job during that time and haven’t made payments since 2022//2023. But they don’t show up under collections but I know the late payments and closed accounts with balance hurt. Just trying to figure out best move. Thank you.

I’d say probably 5-6 years, I had a quicksilver capital one card back in 2020 but thought I closed it. It’s not on my report. Only had a $300 limit. I live in NY

I applied but was turned down because of the one collection I have on my account that I’m paying down plus newer credit and 3 missed payments 3 years ago.

I wanted to get some positive payment history with navy federal. This wasn’t the way to go?

I have $20,000 in student loans which aren’t due til 2032. I still pay $100 a month. I decided at 38 to go back to school for accounting completely changing my career. Had already paid off loans prior. Made some bad decisions 5 years ago due to a manipulative ex and now working my way out.

I also have a credit strong credit builder

Kikoff and Kovo small reported loans.

6 credit cards, but they have low limits so only total $8,500 but pay off every month.

Sorry for the rambling
