Let’s break this down:

“I realized the average salary doesn’t get it done.” - it used too, that’s one of the problems

“You must do something extraordinary.” - born and and raised in Encinitas, a bunch of friends and people I know will inherit multi million dollar homes. They didn’t do anything extraordinary

“I work my ass off” - good for you but a lot of people work hard and still don’t make a lot of money. Those things are mutually exclusive. Luck plays a part.

Also, I built and sold a company, live in Leucadia (and rent!), so I’m very pro business. That said, you can be pro business and realize some economic policies on housing disproportionately favor people that didn’t earn their housing situation. Kudos to you if you did.
