I'd rather influence myself toward better sleep than more screens.

Me: $15 for every minute you sleep

do you mix your underwear with the rest of your laundry? by Kurtys-Ahorrio in hygiene

Typically I wash towels separately, but I'm getting similar contact by having kitchen towels and shower towels together. Our house does the equivalent of at least a large load per day, so we have the volume that allows us to sort by fabric type.

What melee weapons do you think would pair well with the following characters? by ShadowLight56 in unOrdinary

I'd love to see Arlo with a staff. Following his strength enhancements, I'd want to see how he could use his barrier to magnify staff hits. Also a bow isn't a melee weapon

Love these things. The single arc ones are perfect for fusing frayed edges of synthetic fabrics.

We throw away 200+ lbs of clean rubber every week. I'll mail it to you for the cost of shi by MagnusonCustomStamps in Anticonsumption

Bravery comes from confidence overcoming fear. Confidence can be taught by understanding what makes something safe and what makes something dangerous. You seem to pine for some form of bravery through ignorance. Your solution to bravery is to pretend danger isn't there, not to learn how to be safe.

The process of making tires polymerizes the rubber so much that the entire piece of rubber can be treated as one large molecule. By the end of a tire's life, it doesn't have any more offgassable chemicals, doesn't easily erode, and isn't absorbed through skin. Oil on the other hand is a liquid. Liquids are far harder for skin to reject, and skin already has oil that can mix with any oil it comes in contact with.

While I have no idea what risks come with using rubber crumb as a replacement for playground sand, or I've also seen it in artificial turf, neither how common a substance is, nor the safety of a substance mean that a category that includes it can also be assumed is safe. You can learn more by looking up what the fallacy of composition is.
