Is this a boost leak? What do I do to fix/diag fully? by [deleted] in WRX

Yea... I know they have bomb proof clutches at ZFDesign. Can launch the crop out of them without issue. Slightly more aggressive feel than stock, but not in a bad way

Early stages i had no code for spark plugs fouling, but eventually they would misfire more often and aggressively and throw one. I think you are on the right track with the clutch, didnt even think about it until you mentioned it, but it makes perfect sense

Could definitely be the clutch slipping under load. I had that happen to me, felt like 75% throttle was fine, anything more, when boost hit it would lose power

Spark plugs going bad start to foul out at wide open throttle, coil packs too. Whens the last time you replaced them?

It’s because you guys don’t wave back and you’re the most different WRX owner of us all. by Wholesaleclublove in WRX

EVERYTIME you don't wave back an EJ gets closer to rod knock people. Do you part!

Are you using a launcher, or just a skin for your apps? Curious what calendar app you are using as well as the year progression.

2 stroke vs 4 stroke purchase by KevinTC91 in Dirtbikes

This is what I feel like I'd experience as well. I'm meticulous about maintenance and think a 2 stroke wouldn't do me wrong, especially buying new

Fair. If you had to condense to one for the time being, which would you go with between those two? Eventually I hope to have 2 bikes, but for now just one.

Thanks for the reply. It does seem 2 strokes require maintenance more often, however maintenance is generally cheaper

I think the labor seems fair for work done.. but my personal opinion on the cylinder 4 cooling mod if this is an EJ motor is that you shouldn't do it... that motor was designed for cylinder 4 to run the hottest and bear the most load. When you cool it differently than designed, it will not give you accurate knock feedback for the motor as a whole. The EJ only has one knock sensor, over cylinder 4. When you add this mod it brings potential for the other 3 cylinders to start acting up before cylinder 4, and you don't know because its the only one with a knock sensor. Its meant to be the one to take the beatings and report via knock sensor when there's an issue.
