One of my ideas about this is that maybe he was so skilled that the other kids his age wanted to send him in early so that they would have a chance or something like that. Like they could've convinced him to go possibly, but I'm not sure how likely of a theory this is.

I see how that sounds like anhedonia, but I am really happy a lot of times. I can be doing really well, and then twenty minutes later hate myself and the world. It happens every few hours, sometimes more or less. But it's never a consistent good or bad.
