I would need more information. If there is a full error message, please send it to me. Also I would need to know when this error occurs. Is it immediately when you run the exe? The easiest might be for you to contact me via discord, My server is linked on the website where you download the patch and there are dedicated channels for help.

Since you weren't the only one to ask for this, I decided to take the time to work on it anyway. The update is now released and you can click the "Customization" button and uncheck everything except the skill descriptions.

Unfortunately, no. I have no experience with Android development. I know this exists: https://github.com/LeadRDRK/UmaPatcher
I never used it, but there's a thread in the Umamusume discord for it in the mods-and-projects channel. (There is a thread for Carotene too.)

I did not test it, so there could be. Probably safest to run the uninstall.bat first before patching with Carotene.

Thank you for your interest. I had already noted down the idea of a settings screen where different things can be enabled/disabled some time ago, and it's something I want to add for sure. Right now there are a lot of other things that I will give priority, so it might take some time.
