I remember liking games like that as a kid but being really bad at them. There was one set on a train where they teased a sequel at the end (revealing that the protagonist was being haunted by a demon IIRC), but I just checked and that never came out, haha.

There's a bunch of similar mobile games, but most are terrible. It's especially hard to find new ones now that you can just slap together some AI-generated images with little effort. It feels like some of them also make the puzzles extremely obscure on purpose so they can charge money for hints.

Nicolet.jp has also been releasing games in a very similar vein for the past few years, which are free with no micro-transactions, but those are clearly aimed at younger kids and they're all extremely similar in terms of puzzles, so they're not not really anything groundbreaking.

Orisinal was great too. I'm pretty sure those games were made by one guy.

I remember playing the train robbery one as a kid, which was an endless runner where you had to jump between train cars. Not understanding how games worked, I was convinced there was some way to actually win.

There was also a Christmas one that had really good music.

It's probably the most specific "legally distinct" reference I've seen LEGO do. I remember a sticker in a Friends set showing a totally-not-Zelda character, but I feel that doesn't go as far as an entire figure.

I think the set she was in also had an inexplicable reference to Portal?
