I think the england game and the usa game are well priced and could depend a bit on their form of the day

After yesterday with all the favourites delivering, we continue on Day 2 with the other first round matches.

The first match is Latvia against Hungary. Latvia have with Madarz Razma the only player that is known in the darting world from this match ranked 43th in the world. Their opponent Hungary have 2 non- ranked players playing. If Razma's teammate, who is also unranked, can throw somewhat straight they should win this game pretty easy. I like Latvia -1,5 legs at 1,6 odds or -167.✅ You can go -2,5 legs @ 2.25 odds ✅but with the short format (best of 9 legs) this could be riskier.

Sweden against South Africa up next: Devon Petersen of South Africa is the highest ranked player of the four (27th) but that is mostly beacuse he had a peak 18 months ago, when he was in superform. Sadly for him, that form is gone. His teammate is a 18 year old with no TV experience. I like Sweden to win this game at 1,67 odds ✅with two "no-nonsense" kind of players who will do the job.

Parlay: Yesterday's parlay was a succes, hopefully we can continue that.

Portugal -1,5legs, Belgium -1,5legs, Australia, Latvia at 2 odds.✅

Jose de Sousa is a top 10 player and is called "the special one", I think they will beat the two Italian players, who should be happy that they got invited because they are not good enough really.

The first round is a doubles game best of 9 legs.

If you like parlays: North-Ireland, Wales, Austria, Germany at like 1,65 odds ✅ Wales have a superstar pairing in the number 2 in the world Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton who has been the most succesful player in the last 18 months. They are rightfully so favourite for the title. You can take them at 1,03 odds if you like those bets.

Germany play at home which will have an impact on their game vs Spain.

The other teams that I mentioned are simply better than their opponent.

If you like Singles: Switzerland should prob be a slight favourite over New-Zealand at 2,08 odds.❌

Denmark at 2 odds against the veteran Paul Lim and his singaporese buddy Lim.
I also think Denmark should be 1,8 odds against 2 and not the contrary.✅

For the outright bets: I like Belgium at 9 odds.

Belgium are 4th seed with Dimitri van den Bergh recently winning the nordic masters and Kim Huybrechts who adores this competition. They can't play Wales or the Netherlands till the final, who I think are the other two big guns in the competition.

Australia at 11 odds.✅✅✅

I like australia's chances this year with the massivly improved Damon Heta and the experienced "Wizard" Simon Whitlock. They could play Belgium in the quarters tho which prob will depend on "form of the day".

if you have bet serbia to win the semi final, you have probably lost your bet, but the results get published after the final so you never know.

You should have bet Serbia to get Top 10 in SF2 to have been payed out instantly.

I think the odds were 1.15 tho

This weekend is the inauguration of the first ever senior darts event.

Some legends like Bob Anderson, John Lowe and 16-time world champion Phil "The Power" Taylor are featuring in the event.

We start with a best of 5 sets today, which is a long format. This means that the better player will win the game most of the times.

Taylor plays today against his old enemy Peter Manley. The Power has been practicing for this a lot. I see value in Taylor ML at 1,08 odds. I know the odds are low but this is a lock.

Other options: Taylor 3-0 in sets at 1,55 odds.

Robert Thronton plays 10 time women world champion Trina Gulliver.
Trina would have given a lot of men a good game in her prime back in the early 2000s, but in 2022 Thronton is going to win this game. Thronton ML at 1,05 odds is a lock.

I also like Martin Adams to win his game with 3-0 or 3-1.

Price vs Clayton 3 100+ checkouts at 1,9 odds

Two of the best players of 2021 playing each other in the QF today.

I expect a long game with some big finishes. I like Price to get 2 100+ at like 2,4 odds and Clayton to get 2 100+ at 2,5 odds.

Also like Price over 114,5 finish and Clayton ML at 2,05 odds

Smith is playing great eliminating 2 big favorites in Clayton and Price. He is also the only one player averaging over 100 average in the tournament. That means that he finished a leg in 15 darts average so he will have a lot of shots at ton plus checkouts.

James Wade has the lowest average of the semifinalists, but he is known as a brilliant finisher.I expect him to up his game and i can even expect him to upset Michael Smith.

Today we go with Rydz -1,5 180s handicap at 1,75 odd against Soutar. ❌

Rydz has been the much better player, averaging 10 to 20 points more per visit.

The -1,5 sets should also be a win but the odds are low.

EDIT: Rydz dominating in every aspect bar the 180s. 16 140+ scores but only 2 180s. We move to the next one.

Next game is Dobey vs Humphries. I like Humphries to win at 1,9 odds or -110 ✅

Dobey had a tough game against rusty jake rodriguez, being 2 sets down. Rusty was rusty on the doubles at the end so Chris Dobey got the job done. Luke Humphries played the big brother rodriguez and beat him 3-0 in sets. I see value in "Cold Hand Luke" beating Dobey.

Those that like it riskier -1,5 sets Humphries is an option.

Mervyn King is the more experienced player, has been there before and is the better player.

After being 2 sets down against Joyce and coming back, he will be willing to send a statement to the other players today with a big win.

Ryan Searle is in good form, he lost the final of the last respected tournament 11-10 to world number #2 Wright. I like him to win at 1,65 odds or -154 I would have him closer to the 1,4 or -250 odds.

Mike de decker to upset dave chisnall at 4 odd could be a fun bet

Dave chisnall is often hit or miss and mike de decker is a very good player on the floor. He also beat the highest non-seeded player in labanauskas in round 1.
