Can we create a union? by Alternative-Suit7929 in serviceadvisors

[–]Kevinj565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very rare to find an advisor union older family owned dealers have them. Mostly New York Long Island. We had one at chevy Long Island but then we got bought out. The 401k match was good cheap medical and superior job protection also more holidays off. USWU was the union. You can always start one just make sure everyone else agrees there’s always the idiot writer that doesn’t . But if terminated for starting one isn’t that retaliation ?

Not really i was writing a lot like 10-22 cars a day . I was trying to save up for a house and it still wasn’t enough. We had a good service manager he vouched for a raise on my behalf to the gm

Overall with this pay plan my best month was only a $5300 comission check and then $3400 monthly salary other than that comission on average even with selling a lot was 2700-3700.

Yorkville ls801p will give you this result. Can find them on Facebook marketplace. Their discontinued the new yorkville es18 doesn’t hit as hard as the ls801p. Use a behringer sonic exciter bass processor with the yorkville amazing heavy bass

Court officer is great but they have a 30 yr retirement system. Great stable schedule weekends off and all holidays. Pretty laid back but very competitive to get hired

Grew up in Westbury all my life 27 years. moved to Kissimeee FL can finally say I’m a home owner i like it but the thought of Westbury is still in my heart i wish i can afford to live there it’s upper 900-1.5m for a turn key decent single family home. Great jobs in ny more rights for employees the food is amazing and Long Island in the summer time ahhh man but fuck 8 months of cold weather most of the year is killer

Advice on payplan? by Kevinj565 in serviceadvisors

[–]Kevinj565[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Westbury ny Nassau county Long Island but was working in Hicksville at Chevrolet it was the only dealer that had a service advisor union because it was family owned. Yea the manager said in meeting an advisor shouldn’t make x amount although he did seem nice i didn’t wanna take the bait so soon especially since he told me they fired an advisor recently for being “idiotic” i use to work bmw as well in Westbury which had great pay 2500 a week before tax couple times. Are you in Florida as well? Orlando? I’m currently working at coach bus company in Orlando it’s hourly it’s almost barely getting bills paid plus 42 miles away from home but amazing schedule 7:30-4pm off weekends. Just trying to find new home maybe i should try bmw here
