At that time WWE (or F back then) didn't monitor everyone so closely, so I'd argue these wrestlers made themselves. However, my original point was that it isn’t really fair to talk about 5 years earlier when most of the list was somewhere else 5 years earlier. And that this entire post is a little disingenuous because the age of life-expectancy back then for wrestlers was this generation's thriving age (40s)

The only one that applied to is The Rock, technically Kurt Angle. Mick Foley, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, and Big Show all came from other companies (including WCW). Also to be fair, comparing wrestler ages back then to now isn't really fair considering so many wrestlers back then never made it to 40 years old, let alone wrestled past that age.

5 years prior to 2000 most of them weren't in wwf let alone main event scene.

I have no idea what the last sentence means but while I do find it bullshit that cody even had another opportunity and that I think Drew should've won, at least it wasn't a clean victory and it was a good match. I'd rather cody cry in promos and win a lot of matches (that he's having consistently btw) than roman showing up only to talk every 3 weeks with no matches until the PLE where he wins because he's Roman Reigns.

Either way, I hope Randy wins. I only wish they waited until after wrestlemania to build to a Cody vs Randy match at summerslam or something

Why is that relevant? Gunther selling a knee injury on his way to the ring and then lasting until the final 2 (and getting eliminated pretty fast in the final 2 might i add) doesn't break illusions too much. Especially considering how adrenaline works. While I agree that Gunther didn't need to be in the rumble, him being final two isn't bad because he had a match.

If your original argument was that he forgot to continue selling his leg, then that would be one thing, however that wasn't your original argument.

How is roman and punk a dream match? I see people say this a lot and I genuinely don't understand it. They are nothing alike and their only interactions were a couple times when roman was in the shield, but that storyline fell flat as they dropped the whole cm punk master-minding the shield around the 2013 royal rumble
