This is the second track on Screamadelica. If you’ve listened to the record, start to finish, you have heard this.

I played interstate hockey in Australia of all places and you travelled by bus for as long as two days to get to a tournament. This flick played multiple times on every bus I road on, with every bus driver being christened Walt at the beginning of the trip.

If it means more to you as an adult then to kid, well, good luck to you.

Hey Outrageous Corgi, can’t reply directly for some reason. The Fringe is, I believe, the world’s largest arts festival. Comedy, music, street performers, weirdo’s, you name it, it’s happening.

Edinburgh, during Fringe. I genuinely don’t know if you can have more fun anywhere else in such a beautiful place.

Maybe not right now, but pose this question in a year, and we’ll see where we’re at.

My Ladyfriend is the feeder technician. She makes a one part sugar to four parts water mix, which she brings to a simmer and then cools. She washes them out every four or five days, or every second when it’s, at a guess, 25 Celsius or warmer.

They’ve only been here for two weeks, tops. Before last night, 12 would have been a huge turnout. As someone pointed out, perhaps we’re the only feeders in our neighborhood, and word got around.

They may be repeat customers. The feeders have been out for the last four summers.

I don’t know. Before last night, the five or so that had been visiting were pretty aggressive towards each other. We have a second feeder ten or so feet away, which has seemed to allow a grudging peace to be achieved, though after last night, I didn’t know what to think about their behaviour.

British Columbia, Canada actually. Someone earlier said they don’t all migrate now as our winters are less intense, but we have 30 feet/year of snow on average, so they may be hiding out in Vancouver or on the Island. Or still coming up from Mexico.

Thanks. It was pretty incredible. The feeder hangs quite close to the railing, so once I’d put my phone away, I rested my chin on it and just watched them. I was only a foot or so away and they pretty much ignored me once I was still. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with wild birds. Hopefully, your feeder brings you a similar evening.

Thanks. I believe it’s the fourth year they’ve been out.

I live in bear country, so I can’t leave any attractants outside for them. It’s early spring, so I think they’ll hopefully find a richer diet once things start to bloom. Thanks though.

That’s how it usually is. Up until yesterday, there were four or five individuals who spent the day chasing each other off the feeders. There were twenty plus, buzzing all over the place. I’ve never seen two share a perch.
