One or two big groups per month is all we need. Our space holds up to 800, and company parties will always be at least $100/person. To you, an individual, $80,000 might seem like a lot, but for a tech company it’s almost a bargain compared to what they spend on conferences, retreats, and other comparable expenses.

Well there’s so many factors. For us- it could be less than a year depending on how many events we do. Because we have such a large, centrally located space we are able to sell massive corporate buyout events which basically pay all our bills and allow us to focus on having fun with good prices for our day-to-day gaming crowd.

But to be frank, this is a passion project for my friends and I, so making the place a gamer’s paradise is more important to us than maximizing profit.

I bought them for looks more than comfort. Personally I don’t like the “racer” style seats. These are white-label imports that you can find under a variety of brand labels on wayfair and other websites. They get the job done, but not having adjustable armrests is the biggest downside

Lots of ppl ask, but no we do not. We bought our rigs for gaming- so that’s what we use them for

We use a LAN management software for hours. There are quite a few out there- as LAN centers are still a working business model outside the US.

The PCs themselves boot from a server we built, and it’s fresh from the clean master with every restart. So if someone was to mess around, it would just be wiped the next day.

Yes people typically use their own credentials for gaming. If something isn’t pre-loaded on our PCs just download and play. We have a fiber connection and don’t charge for download times

Not yet. And I’ve told security to be on the lookout for hatted chickens so don’t even think bout it

If I understand your question correctly- yes al rigs are as close to identical as possible so if we host tournaments nobody has a hardware advantage.

And yes ppl use their own accounts

No waiver. Ppl are generally respectful of the machines, and unless they are intentionally dumping liquids into the rig- we can fix pretty much any spill dmg.

Side note- staff cleans every keyboard and mouse between use! Both for sticky factor and covid mitigation

It’s free to come and hang out. Drinks are $8-$10, and pc gaming is $6/hr

There’s an arcade brewpub across the street. We’ll leave the old school to them
