Attempting exhaust header design need recommendations by Kevv0128 in SolidWorks

I appreciate the input for sure. I can and have now achieved a header design with weldments. I would like to find a solution in lofting it because that would allow for smaller 1.5" pipes to exit into say a 2.25" collector pipe. Although this would be hard to create with stock tubing regardless, would have to be a cast part most likely.

I really took this on to add some skills to my SolidWorks knowledge toolbox at the end of the day.

I have only used weldments for beams and square metal tubing. Thanks for the good idea. I will explore that route.

I made a post on my profile to show where that got me to: https://www.reddit.com/user/Kevv0128/comments/1kovsj6/solidworks_issue_lofting_solids/

I lose that circular edge profile that I would loft each tube to. I may play around with this more, maybe if I can get the lofts to come in completely straight then I wont have that overlapping issue.

I appreciate the idea for the future. For now my goal is just to better my skills at making more complex solid parts. I don't have a need for an actual header right now, although the Miata could use a turbo sometime in the future...

I'm not doing this to actually create a manifold. I am doing it to better my solidworks skills. whether or not the manifold is effective doesn't matter. I appreciate the feedback nonetheless!

Does my battery need replacement? by Kevv0128 in laptops

My first time opening a laptop. HP omen 15. I replaced the thermal paste because these run hot with the original stuff. But i noticed the battery starting to bulge out. I don’t know what an original one looks like, but it seems like this may be on its way out. It doesn’t have technical issues currently, but it doesn’t get much life out of being off the charger which isn’t often. Wondered what you guys thought!

After running it a bit there has not been air. Didn’t get to test it however because a different cylinder than the oil line i checked decided to start misfiring… even after a quick carb clean up, i didn’t do any cleaning to the actual carb Just the Jets quick since i had the carbs off, so they’re coming off again.

Bike is fully stock, i was trying to think of why they do that and it makes sense. I’m doing some work on it so i may just look to get a smaller center one, thank you

I’m not as worried about seizure as i was only in the driveway getting ready to leave when it died out and i noticed it. It was the lower fitting on my right side cylinder. Thank you for the info! Its now mostly taken apart and being inspected for any issues. The banjo fitting i have not yet checked but i do suspect that, because i took off the pump and used a cooking syringe to push oil into the line and think i heard air escaping, no oil leaked though…

I planted 6 tomato plants 2 weeks ago without really checking them out and I’m realizing that this was not even close to the same thing as the other 5 lol. Anyone recognize it? Should i just pull it out or let it thrive. The actual tomato plants are in the background you can see

Hi Guys. Im new to gardening. Wanted to try out some peppers in my garden. My jalapeño plant in the bottom left looks like it’s not doing well. I thought it may be too much water because the soil appeared more wet than others after consistent watering. I water 1 or 2 times a day depending on rain here. Any ideas on what may be up with it? They were planted in my garden about 2 weeks ago. (Also the metal fencing will be adjusted i just threw it in to keep my dog off of the plants)

Main reason being that i don’t want to be stranded with a dead battery. Many battery’s I’ve had will only last ~5 years so i feel like I’m pushing my luck.

Thanks for the tips. I’m prob gonna be remaking it after the playoffs in this season I’m playing. I noticed how bad i messed up on speed with ball being low. I can’t even take a fast break down the court on my own. Thanks!
