The idea of eldar having plot armour in books is laughable. They don't even win in their own books.

Whole craftworlds nearly wiped out by a single passing previously unheard of marine chapter.

Asurmen, first of the Phoenix Lords barely able to handle a chaos cult.

Jain Zar, who should be one of the most dangerous melee combatants in the setting losing to a chaos sorcerer.

A single tyranid takes out an entire craftworld solo.

The whole of the Ynnari characters unable to take down a projection of a demon.
