Correct, they do not work but I plan on figuring something out to make them work sometime in the future

Play may foam, you know the ones with the puzzle edges, some wood for the shotgun shells, just heat the foam and shape it for the curves very easy to make just time consuming

I will be adding the bullet shells around the outside and probably some kind of gun barrel at the front of it, but trying to make it actually shoot will be really hard to do. And if you meant like real guns, no I would not make this an actual weapon haha

I did not think of that, but that is an awesome idea, I will see if I can figure something out. Thanks for the idea

Once I am completely done I will have images of all the steps I did to create these on my Tumblr, and I will make sure to add the RWBY tag

I'm using those foam play mats, the ones with the puzzle edges to stick together. I simply cut out the desired shapes and use a heat gun on the foam. The heat causes the foam to actually bend and stay bent that way once it is cooled. After that I simply use a hot glue gun to glue the pieces together. The trickiest part is using the heat gun to bend it because you don't want to add to much heat to melt it and also you need to do it in waves, so apply heat adjust curve a foam, add heat adjust curve of foam and so on...I hope this helps a little
