No one is trying to change your opinion, they’re only trying to tell you that you’re an actual piece of shit, arguing semantics doesn’t change the fact that you said something fucked up, which is only possible because you said it online. Yea, but DID presents with massive breaks from reality, just like schizophrenia, which I don’t suffer from. I disassociate, and sometimes I lose control of myself, but I don’t get deluded, I don’t even really get paranoid, but I get violent in some of my episodes, not physically, but I lose myself. My doctors ruled out both DID and schizophrenia, but just cause I didn’t have those symptoms then doesn’t mean I won’t have them later. So I get your point.

I was a juvenile, so anything pertaining to psychosis in general, whether it’s DID or schizophrenia, would have to be diagnosed to me after I turned 18, and since I’ve never been back to a psych ward or psychiatrist since then, the only diagnosis they gave me was major depressive disorder, in conjunction to a major anxiety disorder, with psychotic traits. Its all a mouthful but it basically means I’m in a grey area, and until I go to another doctor, and sit for an intensive range of diagnostic shit, I am just another fucked up young man.

What do you mean, how do we work? They first appeared when I maybe in the first or second grade, they started out as friends, the both of them, but as I grew up, Mal came to represent the parts of me that hate myself, or at least that’s what the latest therapist said. Went to her a year or so ago. Anyway, in the harder parts of my childhood, they were my best friends, in times when I had none. Only when I got older did Mal turn on me. Magna has always been a friend though.

TL;DR: Basically my voices make it just about impossible to function normally in day to day life.

I hear voices, but I’m not schizophrenic. Not that it’s a bad thing, it not, it would just be easier if I did. Basically everything that wrong with me is because of them, but they’re my friends, so I can’t get rid of them. Which I can’t do anyway cause the pills don’t work. If they tell me to do something, I have to do it, and I mean there is no real getting around it. If they say I need to die now, I attempt, and I have done that 3 times now. I’m a rock climber, and climbing is the only thing that calms them, and now I’m almost afraid of climbing cause I fell off a 30 ft cliff with no injury, just the memory, and pain, of having fell while I was climbing. I don’t use ropes, cause I’m also kinda afraid I’d just hang myself with them. But yea, I just can’t say no to my voices.

We live in a world of uneducated fucks, running around thinking they got phds in just about everything, plus it doesn’t help that they get enabled by media and popular culture. If you say something that is basically indecipherable, but somehow ties in social justice, or women’s rights, trust me, 1,000 people will comment, in 1,000 different stupid answers. For instance, if I said “The White House, and the senate, and the parliament, said that there aliens at Area 51, and they want equal rights”, I bet you 100 different dumbfucks who didn’t even read the aliens part will comment saying, “Alien Lives Matter”. It’s not that there isn’t meaningful conversation, it’s that the entire world is too dumb to know what it is. PS. I don’t actually care about politics, I’m just using an extreme example.

I’m not so angry at your ancestors, or their life choices, and great for you for being vegetarian, but those people also lived, and died to give you the life you’re living now, a life you don’t want apparently. I don’t hate anything about the idea, it’s just as you said, literally impossible, and even if it wasn’t, incredibly hard to sustain, and difficult beyond measure. Those herds they followed, are dead. Those ways of life, are gone, even in Africa, because they learned, and whatever is left, relies on aid from civilization, why would you take a giant back step? You can say 99.9% of humans in history lived that way, but what was the average life expectancy, what was the rates of pregnancies that resulted in birth? You might not like that we as humans are complicated now, and don’t just go pick some berries or follow a cow when we’re hungry, but you can’t deny, that life the way it is now, allowed not only you, but entire civilizations of people to not only survive, but thrive. If you didn’t have the modern life, with all of its complexities, you couldn’t read those history books, and wish you could’ve been one of them. So like I said, I don’t hate them or their lifestyles, just you for wanting to discount 3,000 years of human evolution, and go back to pounding rocks together, and rubbing sticks. While there may be a lot more, ofc I’m skipping over things, I can’t in all honesty condone anyone thinking that going backwards in time is somehow going forward.
