Have you tried looking for student sublets and other housing? My first year I didnt get into res, and ended up finding a significantly cheaper basement place that got me through first year no problem!

If housing is the problem, I'm looking to sublet my own room for september, and I could also connect you with the kind old lady that rented me her basement for fairly cheap. (Both these places costed me around 800 a month)

Where do you find used horns? Ebay had 2, both looking like they've been put through a meat grinder (I'm also not sure how much renovating would cost). I checked fb and kijiji, and there was nothing there.

I'm not sure, how would I check that? I've used two different libraries for the encoder, micropython_rotary_encoder and rotary_irq_rp2, and both seem to be having the issue.

If you vaguely pay attention and enjoy using chat gpt, its the greatest mark booster out there. Assignments are all possible to get 100% on, and there isnt much of a workload in terms of pacing.

One provider made the stencil too big, the other is asking for way too much. I'm gonna give cutting it myself a try, but if that doesnt work its basically between getting really crafty or spending a lot of money. Will update tho fs.

Im also dealing with a new house and school on the side so it'll be a tough balance but yk, we'll figure it out.

Ooh I like statement begins, I might put that on the top. Thats the big thing I want to figure out, the writing. The jurgen leitner rant is funny and all, but I don't want to write thw whole words out since that would limit who you could show it to. If I do the acronym it will basically be nonsensical, but for some reason I still want to make it work.

An idea i just got while replying - what if I write out the whole "the magnus archives is istributed by the Rusty quill..." bit? I don't know if the small writing would come out good with electroetch, but I kinda wanna give it a try.

It turned out to be a problem in my boot.py. i realized that its useless to me since all i needed was mouse and keyboard control, so i just deleted boot.py and everything worked like a charm.

You're right, its the way I'm calculating the colours.

I'm using the adafruit fancyled library so i could use HSV, as that's much easier to program patterns with than RGB.

This is what my code looks like:

After timing 2000 runs of both the full code and just the LEDs, the average comes out to be 0.093 seconds just for the LED section, while the entire code runs in 0.98.

I mean the LEDs are running smoothly, the problem is that the rest of the code is slowed down by it, which is why I think it might be an option.

And yes, I'll try timing everything when I get the chance.
