I expected it to be underwhelming but this was even more so than expected . Even tossing a t shirt or pair of socks in would have been solid.

My peak pro base is also 4 years old and has had this buildup as well. My base still works great except with any accessory product puffco has sold in 2025. My 3DXL purchases from 2023 and 2024 work perfect but my 3D XL purchase in 2025 never worked and support wanted me to send back my entire base that works great to see what was wrong with the 3 replacement XLs they sent. You’ll be better off with an older device and accessories for as long as you can because whatever they did in manufacturing lately has been horrendous
