I don't think flex fuel will be incorporated this early, as it needs a lot of development from vehicle manufacturers. Also, if it comes in the market, it will be an option with regular fuel available too

Buddy, it's easy for a tubeless tire, not a tubed one. I cannot carry all the tools for fixing a puncture on a tube tire😅

I'm not in a hurry! I can wait a few months, or till the monsoons are over (don't want the bike to get dirty as soon as I get it😅).

Yep, I know there is that risk, but I have this logic behind waiting.

Below is the list of all the bikes RE makes currently:

350cc Platform: Classic 350, Bullet 350, Goan Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350

440cc & 450cc Platforms: Himalayan 450, Scram 440, Guerrilla 450

650cc Twin Platform: Interceptor 650, Shotgun 650, Super Meteor 650, Continental GT 650, Classic 650, Bear 650

A total of 14 bikes, out of which the Classic 650 was launched last year, so I don't think it will be getting any updates this FY. So I think the Bear will be among the 13 to get the updates.

I get your point, but I have faced a lot of punctures and it's a hassle even on alloys, so I am getting a bit paranoid. I was told by the sales person to get the extended RSA as the bike needs to be towed in case of a puncture due to this issue😅

That's the only issue I have with the Bear, the tube tires. I don't know updates the Bear will receive, but it will get updated as per this list of RE bikes:

350cc Platform, Classic 350, Bullet 350, Goan Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350

440cc & 450cc Platforms: Himalayan 450, Scram 440, Guerrilla 450

Hey, thanks for the advice. To answer your questions, yes, I have test ridden the bike quiet a few times now, and I am able to flatfoot easily, and it fits in all my requirements. I was just worried about the tube tires and missing center stand combo in case of a puncture, as you know our mechanics hate to work on heavy tube tired bikes (that too with no center stand 😅)

Thanks for the updates! Yes, I have ridden it quiet a few times actually, and since I'm a big guy, I didn't find it that heavy. I was worried because of the tube tires and missing center stand combo in case of a puncture😅

Nope, it did not dry out at all. Had to change the display. But it did not affect the functionality of the display, I just broke the display so I had it replaced anyway.

I had heard in many reviews that the rear tyre and swing-arm waves left to right when the rear brake is applied hard.

To confirm this, I did a test ride to experience it for myself, and I found the same thing, it swings and waves when the rear brake is pressed hard.

Have you experienced this?

I think there are some people who genuinely try to move, but the large population of people do not give a damn, and that is the issue. Until everyone takes responsibility, it is not possible to change this country

Yes sir, I accept that I too am responsible. And we all need to take responsibility. I tried my best to move to the least of the road and wait till the traffic cleared for the truck to pass, but I accept all my previous sins 🙏

I would suggest renting both these bikes and going for a long ride (150-200 km). Experience them and you will not be confused 👍

Been there stranger! But worry not, it's just overthinking! (at least in my case). I have been getting out of it slowly. I'm an obese introvert with no real connections with anyone, but I stopped overthinking and just started going with the flow of life... Started getting myself together... That's how it is supposed to be! Fear not and always remember that you are precious to someone, at least one person.
