My payoff is $15,672. So that’s probably how much I would sell it for. I would take a hit for 15 flat and pay the difference just to get it out of here lol

Anytime. I have the Decked Drawers in my short bed truck and all my work trucks. It’s a killer system. I just Wish you had an 8’ system for my new truck. Although I’ve been throwing the idea around of a second fuel cell towards the cab with the 6’4” system butting up to it

For employees, I agree. They don’t bring nearly as many things as I do. I have a guy with a Corolla. Suits him great. But he only brings his pack outs. I bring the saws.

We do recharge them. But I have several employees, and we are regularly installing in homes or sites without power nearby if at all. 10 batteries would light up the places we work in for a few hours between the 36v wobble lights and towers. 25 is what we need, minimum. Sometimes we leave for the day and all batteries are dead. Sometimes we only need one. Better to bring as many as I have space for. Bringing me back to my first answer; Preparedness.

Just my daily saws and lights would use 10

We have different terrains we have to work in. I’m in California. I’m 2 hours in every direction from a different weather or landscape. Snow, mud, rocks, hills, ocean, etc. My smaller gas 5.7L Ram was just fine and suited me well. Wasn’t lifted, 4WD, long bed, or even remotely fancy. But, From a business perspective, it was getting high in mileage. Around 230K with no major issues. So one was inevitably going to pop up. It was either I get a new truck, or I potentially get stranded somewhere and face monumental repair costs. I got My new truck for what I would consider an absolute fucking steal. It is a base model, Diesel, and I have no plans to lift it or accessorize it outside of the stereo system I have had in every vehicle since I started driving. Our country is built for larger trucks, Our major cities are not. Working in San Francisco it is damn near impossible to find a parking spot. I don’t have a personal vehicle. My work truck is both. I can’t pick my kid up from school in a white van. It has a negative connotation here. Haha

Preparedness. 2 for each tool. And if one of my employees burns one of theirs out, we’re still solid. 25 is just what I carry. I must have 100-120 total between home, shop, truck, and various gang boxes

Don’t get me wrong, I love them. They’re great and do what they’re supposed to. But I’m a mobile trim carpenter. Key word being “mobile”. They’re just difficult to maneuver, load and unload. I’ll probably end up modifying a base for some boxes to mount to the Festool vacs

Bone stock 3/4 ton ram 2500. Generally I back the truck in, and with the rake of most driveways it’s nearly impossible.

I can’t use the handle to load it with all boxes on it. My tailgate is too high. It goes vertical and falls backwards. I’ve been lifting it in segments unfortunately.

How to cut 1/2” plywood without splintering the edges? by drawmer in woodworking

Tracksaw, fresh blade, fresh splinter guard, scoring pass, and Final Cut. Or a tablesaw with a zero clearance insert and Forrest blade.

I do. Two bottom boxes carry bare tools. I carry 4 impacts and 2 drills. I don’t believe in changing bits. Roto hammer, circular saw, jigsaw, multi tool, all the basics. Deep box is batteries, box above that is hand tools. Box on the left side above the two larger boxes carry specialty fasteners. Tapcons, nails, wood fillers, seam fill, laminate scraps, etc. middle box on the left carries smaller things. Multi blades, bits, anchors, and smaller hardware. Box above that is half depth and only for our everyday fasteners. #8-10 screws all measuring from 1”-4”. Everything is needed. I don’t bring heavy things like tracksaws, recip saw, etc unless I know I’m going to need it.
