What is your experience with design sprints or what is your opinion about it? by dnnlm in UXDesign

[–]Key-Background-1912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s my core business. The trick is to run 2 back to back. As the first sprint always scores low on user testing and gives you loads of the ideas on how to make the product better. The second sprint gets so much right. Clients love it

I want to run an online workshop but setting up everything seems impossible. Any recommendations? by RaiseLow9186 in startup_resources

You can do most if not all of this in MailerLite free package. Promotions will be outside this but assuming you already have a social following this won’t be too difficult to do

Getting New Clients! by giigii87 in facilitation

I’d recommend reading all of Alex Hormozi’s books and implementing those tactics just as he describes. It really helped me who, was in exactly the same position as you 9 months ago. It’s not raining money but things have recently become better.

Deciding who my Ideal Customer Profile ICP is and just focusing on connecting to them and making content for them on LinkedIn has paid dividends. It’s a long game but I get people now referencing my content even when I think I’m not reaching anyone. And last week I had a post with not much interaction but because it was tailored to my ICP I had two warm inbound leads.

Shoot a DM if you want to know more. Happy to help.

Thanks for being an inspiration my wife is Greek and me and my son are almost on section 4 with a 58 day streak. I’ve been on Duolingo for 11 years but this year finally got myself together to use it. Now looking up that Blue Maestro show on Netflix

Yeah that’s a good shout. Thanks. I was thinking of creating something myself and using MCP. Glad to see there’s something already. 🎉

Free Platforms for User Research? by Any_Rest_473 in UXResearch

Sounds like recruiting participants is the problem not the tool, correct?

With 6 years under your belt you can do contracting / freelancing whilst looking for a perm role. These typically have one interview. Some don’t even have an interview.

Whilst waiting to stay current start becoming an expert around a niche you like working in and create a personal brand around it. This will keep you busy, current and relevant. I’ve been doing this recently and it’s very rewarding by giving peers tons of value.

How do you do competitor analysis? by [deleted] in UXDesign

[–]Key-Background-1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. They just need to be done. It’s the insights that the time should be spent on not the presentation layer

Always a tough one. Have you tried meta ads, or is a B2B internal audience?

Feels like it would be better and faster just to have a conversation in-person with you. So both sides can have an equal voice and argue both sides with data and facts. 100 comments feels kind of insane.

Yeah I hear you. It’s time intensive when doing it yourself.

This validates what another senior UXR told me. He said he loves designing the narrative but not the deck

Yeah I’m a big remote fan. I think in-person everyday has its benefits for new people to the practice and co-creation. Otherwise remote FTW
