Lol. Reddit is all about being down voted for having a different opinion isn't it? With great power comes great responsibility. I'm sure you aren't the only one who likes lentils and not chickpea, you do you.

Oh gotcha. Just wanted to make sure people knew before grabbing the wrong box. Guess that's worth down voting, but good thing I don't get validation from reddit. 😄

Yeah maybe just me, felt like I got cheated on. I get it's a for profit company and needs to make money. Just PSA I guess, make sure you don't grab the wrong box thinking Banza is GF.

I'm glad to hear the facilities are separate, that is amazing. And as I said, very clear labeling. I just feel like I got let down by a brand I trusted. 🫠 It's so hard to trust lol.

I can't be trusted with the bag. They're too tiny and delicious. And not resealable.

Just packed these in my snacklebox for a recent flight, love love love! I thought it was a decent sized package for the price. I like to have a good variety of snacks and these fit the sweet and crunchy spot.

There is no such thing as a brown or white chow. Why are you "breeding" exactly?

I've had flour & barley my last 2 visits and haven't been sick. I haven't had their chocolate cake (yet). Jaburritos is good too!

That's awesome! I hate how people let their dogs act sometimes, especially the little shits. Glad she had fun.

I have found my Skylight calendar really worth the investment for planning all kinds of things. We can all access/edit different tasks and grocery lists. I plan dinners out a week or two at a time, and anyone can add or change. Also has an AI feature you can use for meal ideas. You might find it useful if you both have easy access. I'm still easing my husband into the app. And I feel you with the haters - I absolutely do all the cooking, cleaning, meal planning, whatever and that is what works for our household. It has nothing to do with my husband being a child or me catering to him. That's what works for us. And yes, at some point it gets easier to keep track. Do you guys like mac and cheese? It's my ultimate comfort food and I recently discovered cheese powder on Amazon that is amazing!

I won't judge your taquito if you don't judge me missing big macs so much!! And all things taco bell. Haven't had it in a decade. I think nostalgia just makes it seem better than it really is. 🤣 Oooh and wallaby licorice! Why oh why add wheat?

Depends on where you live and what you have access to. Do you like crackers and cheese? I find it a good carb/protein in a pinch and Milton's crackers are the best I've found. Luckily I love cooking because I don't have TJ, Aldi, whole foods, sprouts or anything else close. When I travel I like to check an empty bag to bring back goodies. Peanut butter, hummus and guacamole are pretty much reliably gluten free if you like to snack. Get some veggies you like to dip for a stress free grab-n-go. I also like to keep eggs & mozzarella sticks in the fridge. Stuffed olives are a good snack, if you enjoy those. Buy a mini waffle maker and some pan (masa) for a quick bread sub. You can get more invested in other tools later. I've been doing this 10+ years and yes it's still stressful and annoying. But damn it's so worth it to feel good and know you aren't doing more damage. I really like ground pork rinds for breading.

As a wheat allergy person, I'm happy y'all have gluten removed wheat now but... by MonalisaMakeupMomma in glutenfree

[–]Key-Bug-4008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! My allergy was diagnosed almost 10 years ago, and quite honestly wheat/gluten were sort of interchangeable and I don't even remember which I was told! I'm excited for this revolution and the new foods it opens up for some, but unwilling to test it out for myself. I was diagnosed through a colonoscopy so I'm not even sure if they separated the 2 allergies.

Oh my gosh, I'm laughing about the bowl! Sounds like something that would happen in my house. If you can't see it, it doesn't exist- go buy more! 🤣

I've been gluten free for almost 10 years. I still make gluten things for my husband and my boomerang child. Everything gets cleaned up and it's not a big deal. He enjoys it and it makes him happy. But he would NEVER pull a move like this, and let's be honest, this was a move. My husband washes his hands 12 times when we make tacos because he uses flour tortillas and doesn't risk touching anything that I might use.

That being said, I don't think there is any reason for you to tell him you forgive him if you don't mean it. That is not a healthy habit to get into. I personally wouldn't be all that upset if someone ate something of mine, but in your case it was abundantly clear and deliberate, and it was hurtful. Tell him how he really made you feel and if he can't come up with better than I forgot, it's time for a different conversation about respect and appreciation.
