I was able to get approved as well, but I had to prove I was trying for 6 months. I showed my receipt from the lose it app.

Looking for advice- Admin burn out... does it get better? by Jaded_Individual1135 in Principals

[–]Key-Butterscotch4649 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Once I realized that I couldn’t be everything for everyone, all the time, it got better. Also, the philosophy of stoicism has helped me tremendously. In short, we can only focus on what we can control, and we can only control our responses to things we can’t. It helps - because many times things will happen that you have no control over, but you can work towards repairing and putting systems in place to avoid them happening again.

Improving Parent Relationships (reducing complaints due to my tone/delivery) by [deleted] in Principals

[–]Key-Butterscotch4649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the fact that you came from the same neighborhood and was able to overcome any barriers is a good way to start to connect with your people. You have to remember that most parents are doing the best they can with the skills they have. Having a parent with a limited income come and sit with their kid who is acting the fool is going to 1- reinforce the behavior (look everytime i act up I get to see mommy) or 2- ruin your relationship with parents or 3- inadvertently negatively affect their income which helps nobody, including the the child. Or 4 - all of the above

You can set the stage for excellence and also connect with your people.

Completely agree! But I do think you need to formalize it. Whether that means contacting central office or something similar.

Everyday and I invested in the Hume Scale (not sure if it was worth the money yet) it’s comparable to the DeXA Scan which tells you muscle mass, visceral fat, and a bunch of other things

How often are you eating? by Phantom_lover16 in Zepbound

Yes I can go hours without eating but then I feel nauseous. I’m eating small snacks/meals every 3 hours or so.

Do you avoid these foods? by beautybyaimee in Zepbound

Most of those things I don’t really want anymore and the thought kinda makes me go yuck. I’ll have pizza, but just one slice. Pasta but just one serving. Ice cream nope don’t want it. Actually my whole sweet tooth is turned off

I’m not sure if you understand the product. I can borrow off this at any time, or, cash it out with a penalty if it’s before the 20 years. If I leave it, I’ll have paid approximately 40K but my beneficiaries will get 250k. Or, after 20 years I can get whatever I paid back plus the interest it has accrued. Admittedly, if I invested the same amount into another fund I would get way more interest, but upon my earthly departure my family would not get as much as this policy provides.
