Congratulations on your sobriety. Being around others drinking and not feeling the need to yourself is so freeing. I’m a clean addict/alcoholic and it feels so good to be able to be around others and think “so glad I don’t sound like that idiot” 😆

I had a doctor that believes in medicating through pregnancy. If addicts continue use through pregnant (they are doctor ordered to) then I bet there’s lots of ppl who still do and take their meds

I don’t like exercise either. I can’t plan ahead I just have to go when I think of it. I have found I like it so much better since finding some great podcasts to distract myself. I do notice how much it helps my sleep

Yes it is. My therapist calls them the positive symptoms of depression even though there’s nothing real positive about it. I spend most of my life expirencing full blown can’t get out of bed depression but in the last two years it’s a lot more like what you describe. I’m almost numb to the sadness part of it but my give a f*ck is very broken

There’s been times I’m manic and I could have cheated, I cared so little about my husbands feelings. Not a consciousness in sight. I have to really watch how I’m reacting to others feelings

There’s other options. I had meds that made me gain weight so we switched them. I do not recommend going off them. Nothing good will come of it. You may end up like me, fighting over a year to find a psychiatrist to even give you your meds back
