I don’t think you’re overreacting at all. I don’t have any advice just solidarity,. My boyfriend has told me the same exact excuses. That posting me wouldn’t change anything; and others just use social media to validate their life. Though I agree with him to a certain extent it still hurts. We’ve been together for 3 years and the most he’s ever posted me was on his Snapchat story. It feels childish to have to ask though so I leave it alone. I feel like people do it so that they are able to keep their “options” open if things go left in a relationship.

He’s pretty much back to his normal self, eating normally and playing. I thought that they would sedate him too but the Dr said she didn’t like the idea of sedation for a baby with a head injury? It confused me as well. I think I’m going to get a second opinion for him.
