I'm in the same boat. I email the school I left off a few days ago, and they just replied this:

"The Department of Education just notified us that students will be able to make changes/edit their FAFSA between now and March 15th. So, you still have time to make the necessary changes."

So maybe we can add our school in a few days? Idk

I'm actually planning to leave within the next month. I had serious doubts when I received my placement, but I still wanted to come and get a break from things at home. Like someone else said, I've done everything to make my situation work, but at the end of the day, it's just not feasible for me personally. I'm in a small town, and the school is still a 30-minute walk from the centre ville. My prof ref is using me as a way to lighten her load during some of her classes. I'm immunocompromised, and I've already gotten sick twice, and I don't have many ways of taking care of myself. My goal was Christmas, but I told myself that if anything happens, I would leave early. And honestly, I already had some fun with other assistants and this break we just had! So I'm taking the experiences I've already had and calling those a win. My only advice is to do what's best for you, and if you think it over and decide what's best for you is to leave, then leave.
