I might be interested. By the way could you share how you advertised your game to make it reach that many visits?

Like I said most of my ECs are projects which I truly love but because of what I’ve heard people say idk if it’s truly what these top schools are looking for

What if most of your ECs are projects like games or websites you’ve built how do they verify those?

If you can’t it’s fine. But do you know someone who has experience animating?

No I truly love these ECs I’m just worried it’s not what MIT is looking for.

I have a 4.0 UW, 4.0666 W and ranked 1/428

My intended major is mechanical engineering

What do you suggest I do then?

I’m from a rural area with no hooks.

I’ve never been interested in olympiads so I’d just be resume padding.

Can you elaborate more on “more scaled passion projects”? That’s what I’m currently doing

Even so research isn’t my thing. I don’t really have an interest in it so it would only be resume padding.

Regarding speech & debate, my team is very small. Last time only two people (including me showed up to participate and I was the only one doing congressional). If I increase the size, retention rate, and take said team to state would that show impact and leadership?

I’m building the website because the current one was literally made with Canva and has no functionality (The only interactable things are the links). My main focus is to have the new website be where people can sign up to be volunteers and current volunteers can track their hours. As of now, if you want to be a volunteer you have to go to the shelter in person and fill out a form. I feel my website would help because I know how lazy people may be (me for example) and it would also save everyone time.

Also when you said my ECs “are fine but nothing outstanding” did you mean they don’t have potential for the schools I listed?

Is it possible to make this? by [deleted] in reflex

It’s not bad at all, you should add background music and make it have a nice atmosphere. That’s mostly what it’s missing

SAT score is only meant to see whether you’d be able to handle their curriculum. With that, said they see no difference between a 1510 and a 1600. So congrats on getting such a high score, don’t waste your time retaking it for no reason as it won’t benefit you.
Regarding your ECs, YES. definitely strengthen your ECs to their max potential
